Beauty Favorites: September Edition 2013

I can't believe that September is coming to an end, and the first week of fall quarter has gone by so fast! 11 more weeks to go! I'm going to try and really update this blog as often as possible, and I thought that sharing my monthly favorites will guarantee that I'll have at least one post every month.
So here are my beauty favorites for this month!

Product List:

I'm totally in love with this foundation at the moment, and I'm currently using the shade in Classic Tan 860. I have combination skin, and the finish of this foundation leaves my skin feeling semi-matte. I'm not a fan of dewy or completely matte finishes from foundations. Dewy finishes makes my face look extra greasy because I do get oily throughout the day. Matte finishes can cause my face to look a little cakey, so this foundation is the perfect finish for me. On top of that, the lasting power is amazing.

I have this blush duo in the color Iris, and the color payoff is crazy. I've only used the left side of the blush duo so far. There's just something about that deep plummy purple shade that is just so pretty. It's definitely a perfect fall blush.

This lip color in Cherry Bomb 918D is just the bomb-dot-com. It's another great fall product. It has a matte finish and you can build the intensity of the color. I definitely recommend wearing a lip balm under this because the lipstick is a little bit drying due to the matte finish. This lipstick also leaves a beautiful stain on the lips once the color has faded. You cannot beat a $1.99 lipstick!

I've owned this brush for a good while now, but I sparingly used it. I originally bought it to use as a foundation brush, but the bristles are not dense enough for applying foundation. It leaves it very streaky, but I found this brush to work so great with the BH Floral Blush Duo in Iris. Since the blush is so pigmented, a regular blush brush applies the color on way too strongly. But this brush puts on the right amount of color without looking like a crazy clown.

I was never much of a concealer girl, but ever since I found this, I always use this whenever I wear a full face of makeup. I use this under my eyes to cover my dark circles. It's a little pricey, but drugstore.com is always having sales where you can get it 20% cheaper than regular price. I use the shade Medium, and I'm pretty sure that is the darkest shade. For darker skinned ladies, I still think this would be a great product for highlighting.

I've tried so many different kinds of eyebrow products, but I feel this pencil in Medium Brown works the best. I feel that I have better control and precision with it. I definitely prefer the pencil's cream consistency than the powder brow products. Medium Brown is the darkest shade out of the three colors in the range.

This mascara is in the color Black 001. When I first tried this, I absolutely hated it. When I pulled the brush out of the container, too much product came out and made my lashes super wet. I found that you have to wipe off the excess on the edges of the container. Once I started doing that, it applied on much better. I love how the formula lengthens my eyelashes, and it doesn't smudge.

I'm so glad I tried this makeup wipe! I love that it's alcohol free, so it doesn't hurt or irritate my skin. It also doesn't sting the eyes. It has a light scent, but it doesn't bother me. I've tried so many kinds of makeup remover wipes, but this one is the best out there. The price makes it even better. I currently have a bunch of backups because if this was to ever be discontinued, I would be very sad.

I have this kit in Raspberry Wine. The kit comes in other colors, but this was the only one left when I went to buy this. Shelling out $50 is hard for me, but I bought it anyway. I have a crazy collection of regular nail polishes, but I don't ever paint my nails because my nails are ruined within an hour. I love this kit because I can do anything right after I cure my nails.

If you want to purchase any of the products, I have all the products listed on my Luvocracy page where you can buy the products all from one place. Click on any of the products below.
